Real or Fake?

If we were to judge dating sites by the first impression they make, Masslover.com would seem like a great choice for people looking for a discreet extramarital affair. The site informs users about the number of female members in their vicinity right from the bat and displays a preview of different profile photos on the homepage. However, both these things are very misleading, which is clear as soon as you create your profile. Firstly, you will start receiving messages as soon as you log in, no matter if you have actually uploaded a photo or written anything on your profile. This is a strong indicator that the people behind the profiles messaging you are actually paid operators with no intention of actually dating anyone they talk to via the site. This is also confirmed by former users who paid the fees and stopped receiving messages soon after. We can not recommend Masslover to people who actually want to meet up and date.

Free vs Paid

The site offers free registration, and deliver on its promise. Moreover, you will also be able to send eight messages for free as a registration gift. This is an unusually high number of freebies, but they still run out very quickly, as the messages you receive are designed to drag the conversation on with no real conclusion. The purpose of these messages is to entice unsuspecting new members to purchase a membership. When features are in question, Masslover has nothing noteworthy to offer. The only option other similar dating sites don‘t offer is rating user photos. This is a manipulative tactic as well since it is another way to shower users with attention. You should also know the site operates as a subscription trap, as the initial (and most affordable) 7-day plan automatically renews itself as a more expensive one as soon as it expires. It is basically impossible to cancel the membership in time, as customer service is extremely slow (intentionally, we believe). The site mentions this in Terms of Service, which still can not be searched or copied, which is generally a red flag. In other words – your card will be charged whether you want it to be or not.
